AndroidLoader Tweak Released

We don’t normally talk about Android on our blog. We save that for our sister blog JohnsAndroid. Despite that, we love discussing jailbreak tweaks and this one is quite interesting. It’s called AndroidLoader and will soon be available in Cydia for $2.99.

Some complaints of iOS has been its inefficient way of looking through your apps. You have to flip through pages to find that one app you need. However AndroidLoader brings a new way for us to look though our apps, saving us time from scrolling from page to page. Android’s primary way of looking through apps is a pull up menu and with this tweak, this system is brought to the iPhone.

The tweak put a pull up menu for your apps on top of your dock and allows you to pull up the folder to scroll vertically in a list through the apps instead of having to turn through pages. It is demonstrated in the video below.

While this tweak may be cool for people who desire a more efficient way to browse through your apps, it is a bit intrusive to teh dock, as it is right on top of it.

The app was developed by Surenix, who developed tweaks such as Springtomize.

I’ll be checking this tweak out, but I’m not sure that I’ll be keeping it. Will you be checking it out?
