App Review: Everyday for iPhone

Ever see those cool slideshows on YouTube of faces of people who took a picture of themselves ever day? Want to know how to make your own? Everyday for iPhone is the simplest and most fun way to do it.

The concept is very simple, just take a bunch of pictures of yourself looking into the lens, string them together, and you’ve got a neat slideshow depicting how you’ve changed over time. With Everyday, you can set alarms to remind you to take a picture. A notification with a pleasant sound appears each day at the specified time, prompting you to take your picture. After the first snap, it will ask you to line up some grid lines to your nose, eyes, and mouth. This will give you a reference for each time after, so all of your photos are aligned when it comes time to make the slide show.

When you have a set of pictures all ready to go, just tap the video icon in the upper right corner of the screen. Here you can set the video speed of your time lapse movie, or save it to the Camera Roll. You can choose to share your daily photos or complete video with Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Flickr.

Everyday for iPhone is available now for $1.99 on the App Store.
