No Apple Store? No Problem

I live in Kansas, and as you could imagine, there are not any Apple Stores nearby because of the population and demand for Apple devices in Kansas. Today, I will tell you how to get everything you would get from an Apple Store from modern electronic stores that every city probably has.

Places to Go: I usually head to my local Best Buy, as they have a wide variety of cases, and accessories to choose from there. You could also check out Target, and Wal-Mart, as sometimes they do carry a good accessory once in a while. Usually Best Buy is the cheapest option, so I would take Best Buy as top priority if possible.

How to get an iPhone: Usually places like Best Buy are not the best place to get an iPhone. iPods, iPads, and Macs are exceptions as Best Buy is good with that stuff. I would first see if you have an AT&T store in the area as they are a perfect place to go to get an iPhone. Also, go to the Apple online store, and you can get your new iPhone there. Stores like Wal-Mart, and Target are definitely not the place to get an iPhone, much less a regular cell phone.

Demos: Usually, no Macs are on for demo at regular electronic stores, but you will certainly find iPads, and other Apple devices on demo. Do not be discouraged if there are people there, because they usually leave within about two and a half minutes. However, the iPods are usually pretty open and free to demo whenever you want.

Experts: Very rarely will you find someone in the “Apple Aisle” that has no idea what they are talking about. Usually they are a pretty reliable source if you need help, or want to purchase one of the items. Again, places like Wal-Mart, and Target do not have the best experts on the items.

Price: As I said before, Best Buy is probably the way to go in terms of quality at a great price. And no, I do not work for Best Buy! As I mentioned in my case wars article, I found a deal where you could purchase two silicone cases, for just five bucks. Wal-Mart on the other hand, offers great quality products, but the price is way too much for a simple accessory.

To wrap up this article, I am basically going to say that Best Buy is the best Apple Store replacement. The pros overwhelm the cons, but the cons are still present. Regardless, I would take a trip to Best Buy to check out the accessories, even if you have an Apple Store in your town.

What is your guys’ Apple Store replacements?
