Fly to Belgium to pick up your white iPhone 4?
Anyone feeling up to a quick hop over to Belgium? There’s a prize for you at the end – the elusive iPhone 4. The folks over in the Belgium stores are either a little confuse on the release date, or maybe they just don’t care – but three white iPhones have found their way from those stores.
Some countries have all the luck. People in Belgium have sent photos of their iPhones into MacRumors, and they sure do look nice. From the photos, we’ve learned that the phones have a new redesigned proximity sensor – even newer than the ones we had been seeing on some prototypes. All it is is a small black oval right above the earpiece, and if you ask me it looks rather stylish. We’ve also learned from the photos that the phones are running iOS 4.3.1, even though Apple has released iOS 4.3.2. All this means is that the phones have probably been in manufacturing for a long while. It’s worth mentioning that Belgium isn’t the only place the white iPhone has been sold – a single device was sold in Italy, as well.
What do you guys think? Will you be buying the white iPhone 4? Some people promised they would be holding out for it. Personally, I think it’s worth the wait until the iPhone 5, but what about you? And is it worth a flight to Belgium to grab one a day or two early? Replies in the comments!
