Today, Apple released their brand new iOS 4.2 which works for all iDevices; including the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. It is the biggest update the iPad has ever seen. Now the iPad can multitask which was very needed. The iPhone and iPod Touch also benefit largely from this iOS 4.2 update, now with the capability to Airprint and to Airplay.

The coolest thing they added to iOS 4.2 is free “find my device.” Find my device was previously a feature of Mobile Me which cost $99 per year. Now Apple is offering this part of Mobile Me for free. Find my device uses GPS to locate your device from any computer. If you were to lose your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, you can now log into a computer and track it.

There are a lot of new things that Apple has released in this iOS 4.2 update check out all the features in our iS 4.2 walkthrough.

Jailbreakers and unlockers beware! Do not update until there is a new jailbreak or unlock available for iOS 4.2. It should be soon, I will write an article and make a post as soon as they are available.
