iOS 5 Beta 7 Released

iOS 5 Beta 7 ReleasedAs we get closer and closer to the iOS 5 – and iPhone 5 – release, the betas just keep rolling. There isn’t a ton to say about this one – the closer we get to the final GM release, the more we see bug fixes and less major features, additions, and improvements.

However, there are a few points of interest. For example, you can sync to more than one computer in this beta. Not only that, but Nuance Text to Speech is available as a menu item next to Cut Copy and Paste when you highlight words – another sign that Nuance is coming to the iPhone 5, likely to be announced at the same time.

The clock continues to tick closer to the iOS 5 release – the date is still unsure, but we are now into something that could be considered “fall” – however, the last time Apple did something in the beginning of a time frame instead of the end is so far back I don’t remember. Who knows when the actual release will be, but one or two more betas, a GM, and we could be there.
