iPad 2 Announced. Best Device yet: Price, Release & Overview
The iPad 2 has been announced and will be shipping on March 11, 2011 starting at $499. The new iPad 2 will be in two colors, white and black (yes, there will actually be a white one.) The iPad will be thinner (33% thinner), faster, and include dual cameras!
We all knew it was coming but now it is here. We were following Engadget online while they were at the Apple event.

Processors
New A5 chip, Dual-core processors, up to 2 times faster CPU and up to 9x faster graphics:
“We go all out on the graphics performance. Up to 9 times faster. Same low power as A4. This will be the first dual core tablet to ship in volume.”
Cameras
Dual cameras: one in front and one in back. FaceTime will be enabled. Also, with the release of iOS 4.3 they have added Photo Booth to the iPad. Pretty cool.
The iPad 2 will be shipping March 11, 2011 and is available in almost every country for $499.
