Recently there have been a number of leaks regarding the iPhone 5. There have been some pictures released in past few days that seem to indicate something I did not expect. Being a fan of Apple though has led me to the realization that I can never plan on being right when I make predictions regarding them as a company. The upcoming iPhone seems to be something I’ll have to eat my words about. Since the debut of the Verizon iPhone 4, it did not make any sense to me for Apple to release a completely revamped phone this year. I really expected another adventure similar to the iPhone 3GS, but it looks like Apple is doing it’s best to prove me wrong.

I still am not completely sold on the pictures that got leaked. They have some very defining iPhone qualities about them, there is still a lot of it that looks like the iPod touch. I suppose that is just me trying to convince myself that I am not wrong, but the more times I look at it, I realize that I am most likely wrong. The iPhone 5 is going to be a nice change of scenery from the current model. I love my iPhone 4, but I think that this new phone looks like something great. With a nice big screen and some different hardware features tagged along, I think I could get used to that.

As always, the only people that will really know is going to be Apple. At the end of the day I suppose we will all just have to wait for Tim to come out on stage and wow us all.
