iOS 4.3 was released just three weeks ago alongside the new iPad 2. Ever since, people have been awaiting a jailbreak. There have been a couple of teased jailbreaks, but nothing has been packaged by a dev team and released to the public. However, our wait might be coming to a close.

While many people thought that the iOS 4.3 jailbreak would be released very shortly after the release of the iPad, there has been a three week wait and people have started to become impatient as they want their iOS devices jailbroken. However recently, hacker i0n1c recently tweeted out that the dev team is working hard on the jailbreak and is currently beta testing it right now. The fact that the jailbreak is in beta testing should give hope to those who want to have their shiny new iPads jailbroken.

While many tethered solutions such as the new sn0wbreeze have come out, many people do not want to plug in their devices every time they wish to turn on their devices. Thus many people are waiting for the untethered solution, which allows users to turn off their devices and turn them back on without having to reconnect and re-jailbreak. iOS 4.3 also does not feature any groundbreaking new features.

Are you holding out for the untethered iOS 4.3 jailbreak?
