Why I Went Mac and Will Never Go Back
I had been wanting a Mac for a while back then. I promised parents that I would save up for it and that I would take good care of it. Having a Mac would make everything so much easier, from what I had heard. The software was better and, as a artsy ish person, the UI would be much more visually pleasing. I had wanted a Mac to the point that I made my PC into a Hackintosh.
I heard people say that Macs were too expensive and that they were not worth the premium that you had to pay for them. People said that PC’s were a much better value. I had bought a couple of PC’s before and I had not had very good experiences and I decided that a change was worth that extra Apple premium.
When I finally did save up that money to get the Mac that I had wanted for such a long time, I was extremely excited. When I first turned on my computer, I discovered how easy it was to use the Mac out of the box, which was not particularly important to me at the time, but it is quite important to many people.
My first experience was amazing. I used the hot keys so much more than I used and Apple has mastered the ability to make software that takes advantage of its hardware to its fullest capacity. My Mac was the fastest computer that I had ever used despite not having the best processor I have had computer.
These are just a couple reasons that I have gone Mac and will never go back. A PC feels foreign to me now. Have you gone Mac?

Sorry for my English. Im from Poland
I have my first iPhone4 for now and i am soo happy with it that im considering that my nest laptop will be Mac. I hate in Windows7:
problems with drivers,
plastic,
errors,
buggy integration with my ZoomText (that pisses me off so much! I spend 2500 money for laptop with stupid WindowsVista ,what a nightmare but i was lucky when my brother was buying new computer i bought upgrade for my laptop to windows7 for 500, almost 1500 money for ZoomText and for TextToSpech 800 money and its not working good! I spend 4800 or more! Monthly my money for living was 500 money. My laptop freeze and is noisy, i cant work with it)
Im soooo happy with my iPhone. Its sooo fast, responsive, no problems with VoiceOver, no lags, errors when im using it. It replaced my laptop in many tasks. I love using it for internet, games, apps, photos and so much more.
Thats why im thinking about Mac. But i am afraid of switch.

1. Universal access has voiceover, zoom, and display enhancements.
2. Most of the time, if something is going to fail, it will within the first year of use. The Apple Care protection plan is a great deal for 350 USD, 250 USD if you’re a student.
3. Absolutely not. Mac users consistently rank number 1 in customer satisfaction. The current build of OSX 10.6.7 is very stable.

I bought my first Mac last year when the Arrandales came out in April. I’d say moving from Windows to Mac is probably the best decision I made and I should have done it years ago. I think what people don’t understand is not only are Mac’s 100X better looking than any Windows machine, but OSX is a far better OS. It seems that everything on OSX works the way you would expect it to, unlike Windows where you generally have to find a way to do something.
