NoseDial…Dial With Your Nose!

Here’s a pretty “handy” app from the App Store that had arrived just in time to return your unwanted Christmas gifts. NoseDial!

NoseDial is “handy” because it does exactly as the name implies, it allows you to tilt your iPhone up or down to scroll through your contacts, and then select the picture of the contact you wish to call with your nose!

This app may sound a bit silly, but consider that these days, you are feverishly running around to and from stores and home with bags and bags in both hands, or maybe its -20 degrees outside. Whichever the case your fingers, well, they’re occupied. Maybe you can manage to hold your iPhone, but with gloves on, or the straps of a thousand bags, there is no way you can dial. But, your nose is usually free as an extra finger, isn’t it?

Despite the weird looks you will more-than-likely receive while using NoseDial, it’s a pretty interesting concept, if not simply a cool way to dial on your phone. This app is available in the German iTunes App Store for $1.00 USD and some change. I think that NoseDial would make a very “Handy” app for those cold walks between car and building, never mind the “nosy” onlookers. Ok, that was the last one I swear! My guess is that this dialer would work with an iPad too, but that seems far too challenging to attempt unprepared.

Here at johnsiphone.com we’ve seen numerous dialers in the past, but this one is definitely the first one I’ve seen aimed at your nose. What do you think? Ever run into the situation where you needed your nose to act as a finger for your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad? If so, you probably think this nosy app would be handy too, right? let me know in your comments!

I am often wearing gloves for work and needing either to answer or place a call on my iPhone. Is there a chance for this to hit the US App Store?
