PBS App Now Available for the iPhone and iPod
All right, so as some of PBS lovers know, an app was released for the iPad back in October, so you could watch videos and get information about the donation-supported programming on the network.
Now there’s the same app for your iPhone or iPod, where you can view clips or full-length episodes of the most popular programs such as Antiques Roadshow, Frontline or Secrets From The Dead, and you can also look up the schedules for local or national PBS shows. There’s also the option to buy episodes or full seasons that you would like to own!
With the iPhone app, it’s even possible to set reminders for particular programs, not too mention the fact that you can send videos you like to your email, or your friends email, you can share it on Facebook and even Twitter as well!
The app, which is called “PBS” is completely free, but I’m sure a small donation wouldn’t go amiss! If you’d like to download it straight to your iTunes, you can go here: http://www.pbs.org/services/mobile/iphone/
